Discovering my own strengths also helped me find the kind of work that genuinely fits me. When I first started my training qualification, I was convinced I was doing it mainly for my own development. I didn’t expect that, just a few days later, I would find myself in front of a group feeling completely present, inspired and deeply engaged in the learning process.After those eight days, I knew: this is what I wanted to do professionally.Ever since, I have been fascinated by how people develop their strengths – and how this can contribute to better collaboration and meaningful development at work.My path took me through Business Psychology and Business Administration into consulting and change work, including experience in corporate environments at ING and Lufthansa. Early on, I saw how closely leadership, collaboration, culture and development are connected – from working in agile structures to designing and supporting training and change initiatives.At SYNK GROUP, my different professional interests came together: training, coaching, Learning Design and client consulting.Over seven years, I designed and managed national and international development programs, worked as a trainer and coach, and took on increasing responsibility for complex client projects and long-term client relationships. I supported programs end to end – from needs analysis and learning architecture through piloting and delivery to ongoing evaluation and improvement.Leadership and strengths-based development became particular areas of focus for me, complemented over time by perspectives on agility, New Work and career development.What I value most about my work is the combination of thoughtful design and direct work with people: developing a strong program while understanding what leaders, teams and organisations actually need – and seeing that work make a tangible difference in everyday practice.Having grown up in a family-run SME, I also know the personal, pragmatic way of working that characterises many smaller and mid-sized businesses.
